Deposit Policy

For the first time groups, a $100 deposit is required upon booking.  This deposit of course will be applied toward the event fee.

For repeat groups, no deposit is required.

Cancellation Policy

When an event is scheduled, that date is reserved for you with no options for anyone else to book it.  We are committed to your requested date (sometimes months on the calendar) and we in faith expect our groups to be committed to their reserved date also.

We understand that sometimes a group may want to cancel their date.  There are typically 2 reasons for this:

 (1) A change of plans by the booking party 

(2) The variable of weather, particularly rain.

If a cancellation is requested due to a change of plans, this must be made 30 days or more from the scheduled date in order to receive a refund for the deposit.  If a cancellation is requested due to the weather forecast, rain usually cannot be accurately predicted until a couple of days before the date.  If in that time frame the forecast shows a total wash-out (70% - 100% chance), we understand that this is a good reason to cancel and the deposit will be refunded.   If the rain chances are 50% or less, scattered showers, etc, your event can normally proceed without a problem.  We have an enclosed pavilion and can maintain a campfire even with light or scattered rain.  So, the deposit cannot be refunded in this situation. 

For repeat groups, since a deposit has not been paid, if a cancellation is made that does not meet the above allowances, a Cancellation Fee in the amount of $100 will be expected.
